What Is Cyan?
Cyan is the first buy now pay later service for the metaverse. Its goal is to make NFTs and all metaverse assets attainable for everyone. Choose to finance your purchase over a period of three months, or get a collateralized loan on your existing NFTs. If you have ETH to stake, you can park them in our Vaults to earn yield!
Cyan Unique Features
BNPL (buy now pay later)
It allows users to purchase an NFT today and pay off the balance over 3 months. Users make 4 equal payments, of which the first is due on initiation of the plan as a downpayment. Payments are made every 31 days.
Pawn (collateralized loans)
Pawning allows users to receive liquidity upfront for temporarily posting their NFT as collateral. In other words, users can borrow money against their NFTs! Up to 33% of the NFT’s value is possible to unlock. Users will repay the amount borrowed over 3 months in equal installments every 31 days.
Stake into Vaults
Vaults are where capital providers can stake ETH which is used to fund users’ BNPL and Pawn plans. Enjoy yields that are real and not based on ‘ponzinomics’ or other unsustainable models
Making monthly payments
For both BNPL (buy now pay later) and Pawn plans, payments are made every 31 days. In order to make a payment on your plans, head over to the BNPL or Pawn tabs, and find the plan in your positions.

Cyan Token Economy
When you initiate a BNPL or Pawn plan, you’ll be issued a cNFT version of the NFT. You’ll retain all the utility and benefits of the original NFT as described below!
So long as the cNFT exists in your wallet and is still active (i.e. no missed payments), then the following utility will be available to you:
- ERC20 airdrops direct to NFT
- ERC721 airdrops direct to NFT (NFT airdrops)
- Twitter Blue profile picture hexagons (select the cNFT in the dropdown menu)
- Buy/Sell/Transfer cNFT
