What is Balthazar?
Balthazar is a research led, blockchain gaming infrastructure project, focused on bringing users, unfamiliar with the crypto native experience.
Balthazar Unique Features
Balthazar DAO funds, and supports projects within its ecosystem. Balthazar DAO began by focusing on the distribution of assets between games and players and making this more democratised with its Guild project (Balthazar Guild). The Guild project taught Balthazar DAO about the dynamics of the web3 gaming landscape, particularly:

Value of community and governance
Through it’s discovery, Balthazar DAO identified two core primitive problems:
a) Games are struggling with their go to market strategies due to volatile crypto markets resulting in less venture funding – and increased reliance on NFT sales.
b) Game studios are unable to effectively build on the blockchain due to a lack of knowledge, standardisation (for interoperability and efficiency) and resources – this inefficiency results in less focus on creating fun games (and ultimately adoption).
