What is Apeiron?

Apeiron is part of a new wave of token-driven, play-and-earn NFT games. Our tri-token system utilizes governance, play-to-earn, and alliance tokens in tandem to create a dynamic economy that mirrors the real world, while our NFTs – in the form of Planets, Stars, and Relics – puts the ownership in the rightful hands of the player.

Tri-Token Driven Structure
Most NFT games host two tokens, a limited Proof of Stake governance token that acts like company shares and a game currency token that is created via daily gameplay. While this model is a solid structure for the many casual NFT games entering the market, having too few game currencies can result in problematic price fluctuations: growth is primarily driven by new users staking their way into the game, so the value of the play-to-earn token depreciates over time as new users enter the system.

NFT Metaverse
Apeiron believes the intrinsic value of digital assets arises with usage, and the NFT metaverse offers a unique platform to expand the use cases of digital assets like never before. It is nothing less than an integrated virtual world where players will be able to not only easily exchange their assets from one game to another, but actually use their assets across different game experiences.

Free to Play x Play to Earn
The play-to-earn models brought forth by the first wave of NFT games have since greatly evolved the player-developer relationship. We will support free to play, allowing a certain number of players to jump in free of charge. Along the way they will be earning tokens and resources to be able to trade on the marketplace, where they can purchase and exchange NFTs to reach high-levels of play, thereby introducing them to the world of crypto.
