What Is OP Games?

Op Gamesis a multi-chain gaming platform currently built on Ethereum and the NEAR Protocol. The project aims to create a new gaming ecosystem centered on community-owned games involving NFTs and DAOs

OP Games Unique Features

The project aims to create a new game ecosystem focusing on community-owned games with a combination of NFT and DAO. OP Games aims to reduce barriers to ownership, OP Games helps developers monetize their work through patronage, Defi and play-to-earn protocols.

Roadmap

OP Games was born in 2018, after more than 3 years of research and development, 3/4 of the core products have been completed. Those are toolkits for game developers and will complete the rest of the product expected in the middle of the fourth quarter of 2021.

In Q4 2021, OP Games’ gaming platform, OP Arcade, will launch on the NEAR Mainnet, featuring ready-made games like Classic Snake, Flip Flop and Forest Cuties. Immediately after the platform launch, a game developer SDK will be released along with the OPGames governance token at the end of the month.

When OP Arcade launches on mainnet , OP Games will bring their game developer partners in to make the platform as diverse as possible. OP Arcade’s purpose is, in Paul’s words, “the app store for Web3 games”

Chase Freo (CEO, CO-FOUNDER)

Chase is a former CMO and publisher of a successful gaming company based in China. During his tenure within the gaming industry, he has been instrumental with the launch of over 30 games in their go-to-market strategy. Before gaming, Chase started his career in the finance sector. Today, the natural fusion between gaming, finance, and blockchain along with crypto, was the obvious progression in starting OP Games.

Paul Gadi (CTO, CO-FOUNDER)

Paul has been in the gaming industry for the better part of two decades. He has also been directly involved in the major shifts of game development throughout his tenure in the industry. Paul is also the co-founder of Altitude Games, a successful mobile and blockchain gaming company based in the Philippines.
