The FUNG Token is primarily a governance token. To access fees and governance power, $FUNG must be staked. As $FUNG is staked, veFUNG is accumulated linearly over time up to a maximum of 9 months. The consequent $veFUNG allows for the following uses:

  • Fees – earned protocol fees are distributed to $veFUNG holders
  • Governance – $veFUNG holders can vote for governance proposals
