What Is Psy Options?

PsyOptions is an American style options protocol built on the Solana blockchain. The principles that have guided the architecture and development of the core protocol are flexibility and composability. It is completely trustless. The core protocol makes no assumptions on how the options should be traded or priced. Options are represented as SPL Tokens, which means they can be traded on any DEX that supports SPL Tokens.

PsyOptions makes no assumptions on price, and allows users to price how they want. Market makers on Serum will price options as they see fit.

PsyOptions is the “option factory” and settlement layer. The protocol makes no assumptions on price, allowing users to price how they want. The protocol also makes no assumptions on the size of option contracts. This makes PsyOptions flexible, composable, and allows others to build on top of it.
